CHAITANYA PALAVI

Spreading Mental Health Awareness Every woman deserves to see her trials, tribulations and efforts finally bear fruit. Every once in a while, when the lights are dim and the spirits low, she has to find the courage to see the shining light at the end of the tunnel. Most women are depressed – from professional goals, personal fulfillment depreciation or family issues. But how many of us have gone out there to seek help? WInspire’s next event ‘Chaitanya Palavi’ was executed on March 7th, 2018. It aimed to get some of the established healthcare people to talk about mental health in an open-ended discussion forum. The social stigma that surrounds such conditions often challenges a patient to come out in the open. It is, as if a taboo which should never be spoken about, but silently suffered. By bringing experienced voices together, WInspire’s aim was to throw some light on the subject, spread awareness and break the silence that often surrounds psychological health. he list of panelists for this discussion included Dr. Kaveri Chougule, Dr. Kavita Shah, Mrs. Shalmali Ranmale(Mphil. Clinical Psychology), Mrs. Sidhika Goenka (Psychologist & Educator) and Mrs. Ruchi Rana (M.A Clinical Psychology).
