In today’s world, the possibility of losing the intrinsic value of an educational institution is at an all-time high. Now is the time to reconstruct pre-existing designs, to ‘revitalize’ into something new and fresh so that more students are inspired to learn.

As a holistic initiative through Versatile’s WInspire, we wish to breathe life into an educational institution that will open doors to the underprivileged students who are in desperate need of basic knowledge and this, we plan to achieve through a systematic infrastructural support. Do you think your design has the power to make the change and help these children come to a well-facilitated school?

Design has the power and strength to revitalize such a building so that it becomes noticeable and distinct to the public eye and starts to gain its prominence back. Perhaps, your design will give the ultimate facelift to this corporation school? The final goal is to make sure that the change in design can bring forth various children from the vicinity for regular admissions. We seek permanent solutions that not only fix the damage from the ground up, but also help reverse the damage and convert these institutions to valuable resources again.

WInspire plans to ensure that the novel infrastructure brings in a wave of revised educational pattern to this corporation-run school. Lots of exciting children are probably waiting for this change and you can be the catalyst!

Brief:

The sole responsibility of the applicants is to transform an inactive institution into a fresh, functional design.

The design intent is to transform this school to a healthy and active place for the underprivileged students so that they are inspired to learn and seek admissions to this corporation school.

Submission Requirements:

1. The entire Project (including the analytical study and design idea) shall be presented in not more than TWO A1 Size sheets in the form of 2D and 3D graphics and necessary text and mounted on lightweight rigid panels.
2. The mode of presentation (plan, section, views, sketches, photographs etc.) is left to the participants.
3. All text should be in English. Choice of scale is left to the participants, provided everything is clearly legible.
4. The entry can be an individual or a group entry with not more than four students in a group.

Evaluation Criteria:

1. The jury members will use their analytical skills and judgement in selecting the winning proposals based on each participant’s ability to properly demonstrate their work and to meet the above criteria.
2. The judgment given by the jury members will be the final verdict.

Date of Registration:

The last Date of Registration is on or before 28th January. So hurry!

Prize Money:

• First Prize Winner ~ Rs. 40,000/-
• Second Prize Winner ~ 20,000/-
• Third Prize Winner ~10,000/-

Entry Fees:

Entry fee of Rs. 500/- is to be paid on the Date of Registration.
