In the commotion called ‘life’, women often forget to look after themselves. The spectrum of a woman’s life revolves around donning many hats and juggling many responsibilities. Reflecting on this thought, we pondered on the plight of many jugglers, just like us. The idea was to build an active, authentic and productive network for women; a platform that would inspire every woman, from every walk of life to make a difference. A difference which enriches and enhances the purpose of our lives. Thus was born – “WInspire”.

Empowerment is the need of the hour and our efforts plan to incorporate it locally. So we thought why not roll out with a reflective inspirational event. This was our first signature event that celebrated two very well known and inspirational personalities from two very distinct fields. They shared their journey and stirred a motivational wave amongst all.

Mrs. Beena Janwdkar is the finest example encapsulating a “woman of substance”. She is not only a successful Interior Designer by profession, but an ideal homemaker. Through the last 40 years she has shattered the glass ceiling that is based on the belief – women can’t have it all. She has successfully mastered the art of managing an institution, raising her two children to be successful entrepreneurs and making a mark for herself in a male-dominated industry and made it seem almost like a seamless transition. Her professional portfolio boasts of many educational institutions, banks, hospitals and residential projects. She strongly believes in giving back to the society and her efforts are reflected in many social causes; be it the Yashaswi Food Products or Sanitary Napkins project. To hear her journey was nothing less of a motivational and educational session.

Music for Mrs. Devina Ghatge is her living identity. It is safe to say that she articulates her life through her vocal chords! She picked up the liking for singing since a tender age of 6 years and has never looked back. Devina has extensively studied the Kirana Gharana and her forte is Marathi Natya Sangeet. She pursued her academic study in Music Theory, earning her the CCRT 2003 Award Scholarship from New Delhi. Her portfolio enlists numerous coveted awards and accolades in Bhaav Geet, Desh Bhakti Geet, Natya Sangeet and Laghu Sangeet; to name a few. Devina is a popular artist in and around Belgaum, Kolhapur, Goa and Pune regions. Her exceptional perserverance, talent and determination to excel have truly paved the path for a legend-in-the-making. Getting to know her journey closely has led many aspiring artists to draw inspiration and achieve success in the field of music.
