For children, the world is a canvas of creativity. KALABDHI is a promising platform to jumpstart a child’s interest in art. Through mind-bending workshops and installations, we promise to stimulate these young minds to let their creative juices flow in a competitive environment. This blend of education and entertainment under one roof is what we like to call ‘Edutainment’.

KALABDHI 2020 invites children ages 8-17 years from schools, art institutes and hobby centres to explore their creative genius. Participants can send in their registrations via email (at kalabdhiartfestival@gmail.com with subject line ‘Kids Installation Participation 2020 - (name, school/institute/individual, contact)’ OR via phone (details below) on/before 15th January, 2020. Participants’ artwork must be a reflection of their understanding of the theme ‘Indianness Through Sustainable Living’ . Children are expected to express their authentic feelings towards this cause and display their take on the same through respective artwork. Participation via school/institutional entries, individual groups and individual children will also be accepted.
Please note the criteria for installation -
- All the material used should be eco-friendly.
- The essence of ‘Indianness Through Sustainable Living’ should come alive in your artwork.
- Use of plastic is strictly prohibited.
- Size of the installation should not exceed 6 feet and base 4ft X 4ft. OR 4ft. diameter.
