‘Umed’ is very close to our hearts. ‘Umed’ all about hope, which is the sole strength of our convictions. And thus, ‘Umed’ truly celebrates hope.

‘Umed’; our second event was aimed to draw inspiring stories from stalwarts, who hoped and worked hard towards what they have and are in the present day. The road to success wasn’t always smooth, but they did arrive and how!

Sometimes, when are down and low, it becomes imperative to find a source of inspiration. And when stories like these; of beings that just like you and me achieve beyond horizons; come alive, it paves the way for thorough motivation. Stalwarts aren’t necessarily born to affluent backgrounds and don’t take the ‘easy way out’. And even if you are lucky to carry forward a privileged last name, it’s a humongous task to keep the torch of glory shining forever.

‘Umed’ brought three such distinctive personalities together - Mr. Vishwas Nangre Patil (Inspector General of Police, Kolhapur Division), Hon. Mr. Sachin Menon(Menon Industries, former Chairman of Kolhapur Institute of Technology) and Mrs. Suhasinidevi Vikramsingh Ghatge(Social Worker & Activist).

An evening with these eminent personalities was fun-filled, educative and motivational on many levels. A spectacular Kathak show by ‘SPANDAN’ added that much needed entertainment, artistic and glamour quotient to the evening.
